In December 2024, a single GCC Grand Tours visa is due to become operational, allowing tourists to explore six countries in the region – Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman – on the basis of a single permit. This initiative is aimed at the development of tourism in the Middle East and is aimed at increasing the popularity of the region among travelers. It is predicted that the GCC Grand Tours Visa will become a simplified analogue of Schengen.

We have collected everything that is currently known about the new Persian Gulf visa in this article.

GCC Grand Tour - what is this visa?

Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have introduced a single multiple-entry visa, allowing visitors to easily travel across all six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This permit will make it easier for tourists to travel to the region, because it will not be necessary to obtain a visa for each specific country.

Another advantage is its duration, you can stay in the countries for up to 30 days, this time will be enough to get to know the attractive tourist world of the Persian Gulf.

Also, the visa application process was simplified, which made the visa available to a wider range of tourists.

How will the GCC Grand Tour Visa work?

The GCC Grand Tour Visa is expected to operate on the principle of the Schengen visa. Tourists will be able to enter any of the six GCC countries and travel freely in the region.

Also, given that the permit is multiple, the tourist will be able to return to the region several times.

According to forecasts, the new permit will become available by the end of 2024.
